WHAT

Directed the digital communication and content production for a premier Bhangra dance company. My primary objective was to maintain a high-frequency posting schedule and consistent brand voice for an audience spanning 45+ countries, ensuring the brand remained top-of-mind even during gaps in live workshops.

STRATEGY

  • Multi-Platform management: Tailored content strategies for Instagram, TikTok, and X, optimizing formats to maximize reach based on each platform’s unique algorithm.
  • Executive alignment: Partnered directly with the CEO in weekly Google Meet strategy sessions to align content with global workshop tours.
  • Content optimization: Solved “content gaps” by auditing the brand’s YouTube archives (choreography, vlogs, and international workshops) and converting horizontal footage into high-performing vertical short-form content.
  • Global collaboration network: Planned a collab cost strategy with regional brand ambassadors and instructors in cities like Hong Kong, New York, Sweden, and South America.

HOW

  • Visual style: Leveraged Adobe Premiere and After Effects to add dynamic transitions and “flash” effects, giving choreography videos a punchy, energetic vibe that mirrors the dance’s intensity.
  • Project management: Managed the global content calendar and asset storage via Google Drive, ensuring seamless collaboration with international stakeholders.
  • Platform coordination: Utilized Buffer for strategic scheduling on X, while managing Instagram and TikTok natively to leverage platform-specific trends and engagement tools.
